Davis Spells us stories . . .
Davis, as most of you know, is our little alphabet prodigy. I don't know why, and I don't know how, but for some reason our little boy has been obsessed with the alphabet for almost a year now. And since he practices the alphabet everyday, he can spell, read (some), and write the alphabet. The other day, we were picking Daddy up from work, our daily ritual, and the second Jake gets in the car, Davis starts spouting off these letters . . . "N . . . A . . . T . . . U. . . R . . . A . . . L. . . F . . . O . . . O . . . D . . . S" Since there were so many letters he was saying, we really had to concentrate on what he was spelling. So by the end, I recognized "FOODS" and knew that he was telling his Daddy that we stopped at Good Earth (Natural Foods) to get some raspberries. Sometimes he's even a little smarter than we are . . . at two years old! Go figure.

That's amazing and so special to have such an obvious talent right off hand. It makes you wonder what he'll do with it... Win the world spelling bee? Become a language guru? (wait, he already is!) Not surprising when you have such great padres!
